I bought this for my 5 year old who loves to sing and uses a tube of toothpaste all the time instead of a microphone. This microphone is impressive. It was so easy to connect to my phone and we started singing right away as it was already charged and ready. My 21 year old son and his girlfriend played with it and quickly showed my youngest how to change the voice, volume and echo. You can switch songs directly from the microphone when it is connected with bluetooth. The lights are cool and attractive to younger children. I thought it would be bulky for a 5 year old but it's really light and easy to hold. It comes with 2 protective sponges to cover the mouthpiece, as well as an audio cable and a USB charger. So far we love it and can't wait for the karaoke party. Bluetooth and WiFi is what you need.
