The cream itself feels nice. It absorbs well and does not cause any discomfort at all. Gives my beard a nice shine. What can I say, the smell is terrible. Upon opening it has a very chemical smell which the manufacturer seems to cover up with a lot of mint smell. When you open it you smell a strong minty smell and kind of an oily smell that I would expect in car lubes. They contacted me to ask how I like it and I told them about the smell. They quickly sent me another one and said that the smell was not typical of their products at all. I was excited when I got the second one and thought it would smell different (maybe even nice) and I was wrong - the second smelled exactly like the first. Maybe I'm used to beard oil and all the nice smells, beard oil. Also, I've never used beard cream, but I've used a lot of hair creams and I've never had that smell. I would avoid it.
