Absolutely perfect. It replaced a kettle I had for several years until I left it on the stove and forgot about it. Let's get back to the rating. My philosophy is that you buy products that are built to last, not price. Even if price matters. Sure, you'll spend a little more for this kettle, but you most likely won't need to replace it for years - if ever. Pipe. I suggest you don't overfill the kettle or it won't happen. The same goes for those who say that water spills when poured. The design is attractive, the grip is rubberized to avoid burning your hand, and the thumb lever for opening the lid is perfectly positioned for comfort and to keep your fingers away from the vapor when opening. The lid fits snugly to keep heat and steam inside. I have only good things to say about this product. So if you think you need an electric kettle that will last for years and is affordable, buy it.
