I bought this dock with the idea that it wasn't designed for video processing/playback or gaming (but I can play two 1080p videos on different screens with no problem). box makes it easy for me to work remotely as I only need to plug a single USB 3.0 cable into my laptop to connect everything (while also making it easy to switch to my personal laptop). I am using three monitors @ 1080p for each monitor. The bad thing I just discovered: Audio - I couldn't easily connect a set of speakers (won't be recognized) and had to use a splitter cable to connect the regular speakers. I used the following and it worked fine for audio output - StarTech.com Headset Adapter for headsets with separate headphone/mic jacks - 4 position 3.5mm to 2 x 3 position 3.5mm M/F
