At first I thought this printer was great: easy to set up, works well, print quality meets my needs. Then I turned it off (via a button, not the mains) because I knew I probably wouldn't be typing for at least a week. So the next time I needed to print, I turned the printer back on, right? Only now it doesn't print, it says it's offline. Ha-Lamp Wi-Fi is turned on. There is a connect command in the print queue window, but it doesn't work. I try a number of things with their utilities and such and end up going through one to test the connection which eventually allows me to print a test page. But understand, it says I have to restart the printer to print anything! Of course I needed the site badly and wasted too much time already. So I seem to have learned that if you want to print you have to leave the printer on all the time or restart your computer every time you want to print. The only reason I replaced my HP was because I had too many problems with it when I needed a page in a hurry. There's nothing practical about this device if you don't print often or want to conserve energy by turning it off.
