Doesn't dry as quickly in cold climates
Bought for Iceland. Didn't feel it dries that quickly in the cold (we were there in October). Still quicker than a regular towel and for the size I bought it folds/rolls up neatly. We walked and visited many thermal baths. I would recommend washing and drying it before first use (the towel seemed more absorbent). In the afternoon I slipped it over my daypack while hiking. Or put it next to the heater where we left off. Many places have a heated towel rail that is steam heated by geothermal heat found throughout Iceland.
