Good idea, bad execution

Sorry I was in a hurry. I unpacked it, paid attention to the fit of the two parts (base and spindle are packed disassembled in the shipping carton) and then sent the shipping carton for recycling. When I later reassembled it for use, the slightest tug on my yarn knocked the spindle out of its base. Since I didn't have the original packaging I decided to glue them down with marine epoxy. It works so far, but I'm not sure how long it will last. Don't be seduced by shiny dark wood. Buy reliable plastic.
