Has a strong and durable look (larger than the typical 3-point wheel adapters available for DIY). Attaches quickly, accurately and securely to the edge of a wheel. In my case, they were first used on expensive custom aluminum wheels. With adjustable wishbones and other suspension/grip modifications, I wanted to achieve the desired caster and camber characteristics. Under certain circumstances, this would be cumbersome and expensive in a conventional straightening workshop. Luckily, the device comes with plastic caps on each of the locating pins. Each capped pen has a hole punched in the thin Chinese carton it is packaged in. The box contained a very short elastic cord and a small plastic handle in a pocket. There is no documentation to indicate what any of these items are for. Two tips: Check the bent ends of the dowel pins for flare. If present, it looks like a thick burr and is a manufacturing or processing defect. Two of the pins had burrs, one worse than the other. I discovered the problem after it left marks on the edge of the wheel when I first opened it up. I filed the two offending ends with a file. There is also a small mounting screw that holds the round plate to the device. Make sure it's not loose. Any play here can affect your camber readings when you attach the magnetic camber gauge to the plate. Overall the tool works well and I would recommend it to others. It will outlive me.
