Very useful if I can get it to stick to the console. I cleaned the plastic with alcohol, but the plastic surface is textured, the center console is that kind of plastic that always stays a bit oily. The self-adhesive Velcro will hold until you add weight or the interior heats up, at which point you open the car door and find it lying on the floor.
