I had another adapter that had a short cord that plugged into the computer. I like that this plugs directly into my computer and sits flush with it instead. Feels less awkward than having it hang and inch or two off of the side. I use this every day and have been very happy with it. I do worry I might knock it one few and break off the connectors, but so far so good. Also love how small it is for traveling.I also love having the SD card slot! I do photography and videography, so not having to have another adapter to pull pictures from my camera is awesome.
