For a $140 wireless router, this DLink sucks. It does what others have warned against. He drops devices throughout the day. And when those devices try to reconnect, it won't let them. Even if you try to reconnect manually and re-enter the WiFi password. Simply turning the router off and on again will fix everything. How silly for a $140 wireless router. I had a Honeywell smart thermostat, a Brother wireless MFC printer, and a gaming laptop. And yes, in less than 2 days of use, all 3 have failed multiple times. I couldn't manually reconnect the thermostat or the Brother printer by turning them on and off. nope It wasn't until I disconnected and reconnected the DLink router that these devices were allowed to "automatically" connect to the DLink router. I've experienced this twice where just rebooting the router fixed the devices that were offline for hours. We just reboot and then they are allowed to connect to the router again. Stupid. There's a strong signal over my house. But what good is signal strength if you have to restart the damn thing once or twice a day to get your devices to reconnect? Stupid.
