I bought these because of the flat cable which I really like, I also have another model with a white cable. I'm not sure what the deal with this model is, they are terrible. I've done side-by-side tests with the other two sets I have and there's obviously something wrong with them. Very, very tinny, with terrible bass. I even switched between each type of headphone to see if they belonged, no they just sound awful. I suggest looking at other models in the Ecko line if you are looking for Ecko liners. For the price I expect they will be better than the cheaper model I have, definitely not. I threw them in the trash, yes they were that bad. I was so disappointed that I didn't even want to try to get them back, it wasn't worth my time. Buyer Warning.
