I needed a new surge protector for my new computer. Tripp Lite is known for this. I had an Isobar from them that I use and it was solid and all, but the problem is that it acted as protection and was just a simple power strip after that. The fact that he was constantly losing energy meant I was never overly motivated to replace him. This will turn off the power if the protection is used to the point where it no longer provides protection. It may be uncomfortable, but who said the second squall might not come after the first. This will still protect my system. The sockets are provided with protective covers, which also prevent the ingress of dust. They also hold the forks very well. You really have to push them in and it takes a fair amount of force to pull them back out. I found the price fairly reasonable for the protection offered.
