Withstands high temperatures

I put olive oil on tortillas that I fry. My old brush couldn't handle the heat of the hot pan and the bristles melted. In addition, it is easier to clean than the old brush. I'm only using a small brush at the moment, but I'm sure I'll be using a big one as well. Very happy with the purchase.
