Review on Hot Leathers Classic Motorcycle 38 by Mike Hamelin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Survived the SUV attack but not the paramedics.

I bought this jacket almost five years ago and it was a very good jacket until last September when the expedition ran a red light and met me at a 60 mph intersection. After partial reflection, the windshield that shattered the roof inside the jacket was still fully intact, with a small rash from a 50-yard slide. Even the paramedics who loaded me into the van said it was a great jacket because it was difficult to cut with scissors. This jacket has survived the rain, a few slips and an SUV attack. Trust me this is a good riding jacket and that's putting it mildly. A liner here in the Pacific Northwest is essential in the winter, and it's nice to be able to take one with you in the spring when it's not so cold. The jacket sits at your waist, so if you don't like it I suggest you tuck in your shirt while you ride and relax your shoulders so it covers your tear. I'm about 6ft 6300lbs and I have 54 in this jacket and was perfectly unlined and a bit snug with it but still very comfortable to ride.
