Although my daughter likes her swimsuit, I ordered a size based on the size chart and it is too big. My daughter is 4 years old, 32 pounds, 3ft 4in and measures 17.9 from shoulder to crotch. I bought the size for 3-4 years. It fits everywhere except the crotch area. It's a little baggy. Enough to see everything when she makes certain moves. I will buy gym underwear to see if it helps. So if your child is smaller I would recommend downsizing or finding another company to buy from.
