This is a great camera for simple shots. The picture quality is amazing, but I have two reservations about the camera. 1.) It has some settings and options to play around with. It might not be the most convenient thing for people who expect it to be up and running out of the box. If you don't mind the learning curve, you should be fine. 2.) It reacts very sensitively to the slightest handshake and therefore has a high potential for blurring. I had to reduce the MP quality to 5 so I could shoot sharply. Even then, photos tend to blur if I'm not careful. Buy a tripod if you want to buy this camera. (That's why I gave it 4/5 stars. It's worth mentioning, and it hurts at times.) Despite the flaws, this is a very good camera for someone on a budget who wants quality photos. I think I'll update (and probably stick with Nikon) in the future, but for now it will do.
