I got tired of not having a vacuum for 2-3 days every month as I washed the filter that came with the Dyson and waited for it to be clean. dry. I went to the Dyson website to buy an extra filter but didn't want to pay the insanely high price (plus insanely expensive shipping). I was cautiously optimistic when I bought these 2 packs. The price was great and if it was at least 75% better than the original filter then I would be happy. Having been using these filters for several months now I honestly can't tell any difference between them and the original. I forgot which parts are replacement and which are original. My wife said she noticed a very slight reduction in suction, but it's barely noticeable, and 95% suction is worth paying 25% of the price.
