This is my review of the blue and black ARKARTECH gaming headset. PACKAGING: Pretty standard shipping for these cheaper headsets. Colorful box with the image of the headset on the display. When you open the box you will find the headset, a splitter cable so you can use the headset on a PC and an instruction manual. Overall the shipping is nothing special, but definitely not a downside. DESIGN: The design of this headset is mediocre at best. I don't know why, but most of these cheap Chinese headsets are HUGE! While they're not too bad in terms of comfort, they do look pretty silly on your head. They're made out of rather cheap plastic, and the headphone sliders aren't very comfortable. The colors are pretty good, but I have one BIG gripe with the design, STUPID RGB. Why on earth have a color scheme that's consistent across the entire headset, and then just mess it up with an RGB backlight that you can't set to a specific color? RGB light fades across the rainbow and most colors just don't look good with blue. This is annoying and really improves the goofy look of the IMO headset. Although I have listed many cons, you have to consider the very low price and I don't think you will be cheated, but I really don't like these colors. COMFORT: The comfort is very good, I wear them for hours, for several days and they do not cause the slightest discomfort. The padding is good for the money and the headphones don't touch the ears at all. In this situation I believe that the light plastic actually plays the role of a pro as it does not put any pressure on the head despite its weight. Overall, I am VERY happy with their comfort. SOUND: The sound confuses me. It's clear and good for watching videos, and the stereo audio works well for games like CS:GO where audio is important, but as far as music goes, it's really lacking in the low frequencies, like most of these cheaper headsets out there case is. In general, the sound is satisfactory, but no more. MIC QUALITY: This is what impressed me the most. I don't know what's wrong with these cheap Chinese headphones, but the mics are SO GOOD. I've tried many much more expensive headset mics and they've consistently failed me, but these are crisp with low static. They're great for Discord, Skype, game chats, and the like. GENERAL: Even listing all these cons, I still give this headset 5 stars because there is nothing wrong that can't be overlooked. price tag. Yes, it's made of cheaper plastic and doesn't sound flashy, but it's only $27. At this price point, it has some plus points, like comfort and a microphone. This is a solid buy for anyone wanting a gaming headset at an affordable price.
