I was recently cleaning out my closet and came across a huge stash bin full of photos and albums full of photos when my kids were little, as well as all the photos of my husband's late parents. Back then I was too busy with the kids to properly store most of my photos after developing, hence the bin they were thrown in with the promise I would clean them up one day. Well I'm finally doing it after 10+ years. Naturally, I turned to Revain to find a way to keep them neat and secure. I felt that the albums would take up too much space and not provide enough space, so given that I have over 5,000 photos to organize, I decided to try boxes instead. These boxes turned out to be exactly what I needed: they are small, hold very little and contain no acid. I ordered two just to try them and loved them so much I came back for another 10. My only complaint with them is that the clasp on the smaller boxes seems a bit flimsy hence only 4 stars. I'm not sure if they will withstand a lot of opening/closing, but since these drawers are probably only opened/closed a few times a year at most, I'm not overly concerned about that. However, if you're buying them to store craft supplies or something you do frequently, be aware. Plus they are beautiful and I'm excited for my package to arrive so I can clear those dozens of photos from my dining table.
