Everyone avoids this extension cord, it almost caught fire and my 3090 FE melted. The wire gauge is thin to start with compared to what comes with the Nivida and I told myself it's ok, I hope nothing happens. But after running some tests, restarting my computer twice, I noticed a burning smell coming from my computer and realized it was coming from the cable. Then when I opened it I saw that there were two pins missing on each connector, see picture, two lower compared to the Nivida adapter. This is not normal and nearly cost me my not easy to find GPU and system. If you care about your GPU, avoid it and pay to get evga or other brand names.
