These silicone wine stoppers are described in the description as being airtight, airtight and allow bottles to be stored upright or on their side. Well it seemed incredible to me so I just had to try it by capping my freshly opened bottle and turning it upside down. I was sure the silicone lid would come off and I'd have wine confusion, but I was pleasantly surprised to find out that what they say is actually true. No leakage and the plug stayed in place. That doesn't mean I'll store my open bottles upside down or even on their side. They will continue to stand upright at my refrigerator door as usual. It's just so nice to tell the truth for once. Such a rarity in the commercial or political world these days. The set contains four stoppers in four bright colors: blue, green, orange and pink. They fit easily into every wine bottle I've opened so far. And the really good thing about them is that they don't raise my bottles up so the bottles fit in the fridge door with ease. My other wine bottle stoppers add 1.5 to 2 inches of extra height. Very convenient plugs that work well. They're not as pretty as my other corks, but they're quite practical.
