Review on 🌀 Emerson CF144BS Curva Sky Ceiling Fan: Modern 44-Inch Blades, Brushed Steel Finish, Light & Remote Control Combo by Barbara Lopes

The design is good. Flush mount with low profile. Expensive ceiling fan and Emerson lamp. Terrible lamp. Very low power - 100 watts. Buying a more powerful lightbulb is not possible "because of the risk of fire". A piece of thin aluminum foil "protects" the light bulbs (two 50W halogen bulbs less than one stove lamp to light up the whole kitchen!) from the electrical cabinet. Very poor lighting in the kitchen for prep and cooking. The dimmer switch reaches its brightest point with no indication that it's at maximum light, and then fades - you have to repeat the cycle by holding the power button until it's back to maximum. I would have preferred to have had a chain, but that doesn't add to my dissatisfaction knowing that this model doesn't have a chain. This is an expensive ceiling fan with a light. Emerson screwed that up. I would return it but I would have to spend $165 an hour to have an electrician installed by Revain - NOT an electrician or even an apprentice. The installation took several hours. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE with the product and WITH AMAZON for sending a layman to do the electrical work. VERY POOR PRODUCT AND UNLICENSED INDEPENDENT WORKER AND NOT AFFILIATED WITH AN ELECTRICAL COMPANY. NEVER NUMBER AMAZON NOT QUALIFIED FOR ELECTRICAL WORK for the assembly or installation of other products.
