I love this personal waffle and sandwich maker. At first I thought it was expensive but since it's a waffle maker and sandwich maker I had to try it! I've seen so many good recipes on TikTok that I've been wishing for a mini dash for a long time. It's worth almost $40. It's really more than a simple $10 Dash, but the price of a Double Iron Round Dash is around $25. I wish this sandwich/waffle maker was $34.99 or less. However, it makes an amazing square grilled cheese sandwich. Dash Irons are round and the bread needs to be trimmed. I just lightly buttered both sides of the unsliced bread, added two slices of cheese and a few thin slices of tomato. My bread wasn't too thick or too thin. I close the latch and lock it. It closed with no problem. I waited three minutes and opened the latch. The top was a little light but the bottom was perfect. All the cheese melted, the inside was hot and gooey. This was my first time using an iron, it smoked for a few minutes when I first turned it on. I left it on for probably 10 minutes and wiped it off again mid-heat. I made sure whatever needed to be burned was gone. I have prewashed both waffle maker and sandwich maker. I am very happy with this iron. I originally bought this to put on our boat so we could make sandwiches quickly and easily, but it's just as great to have at home and I may have to buy a second one to keep on the boat . I've been watching Dash for a few months and when I saw it popping up on my vine I had to give it a try. I'll be making waffles next and will update my review afterwards. At the moment I can highly recommend one of these as it is very easy to use and clean. I have a large Belgian waffle maker and an electric skillet. It is much easier to use and clean for a couple or a small family. Highly recommended!
