I've only had this for a day so I may have to edit it in the future if problems arise, but I've used it for sewing which requires a lot of ironing and the need for one strong wrinkles, that works great so far. And the fabric I used was a stretchy modal that didn't easily fold well. But it helped. First I love it because it reminds me of our iron from before, very simple design, auto shut off. The old ones didn't go out! I've had several travel irons, but they don't get hot enough and contain very little water for steam. So for me it was a win. A little noisy when first turned on with steam but not yet leaked or splashed onto the fabric. Imagine if the outsole wasn't as easy to care for as the newer models, but I can deal with that. It's heavy, which I think is also a plus, you don't have to press hard on it to get crisp creases and creases. Exactly what I was looking for.
