Perfect for Yamaha XSR700
I purchased black 39mm fork boots (P/N 666760) and they are perfect for the 2019 Yamaha XSR700. They are quite thick and appear to be of good quality. You have to squeeze the top to lower them onto the steerer, but not too hard lest they slide down. The bottom also overlaps the bottom of the fork quite closely. They don't need zip ties at all, and they're elastic enough to compress and stretch so they don't move. Highly Recommended!
