Review on 🚲 EyezOff GP96A Alloy Mini Bike Pump with Pressure Gauge - Compact and Durable Pump with Mounting Bracket by Franklin Richardson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perhaps the best small pump in this price range.

Although I would like the valve to be connected via a short hose so I can use this pump as a tiny floor pump and protect the tube valve from damage, I understand that this increases the cost. If you can do without a small hose and can pump with two hands (one to pump and the other to support the pump on the tube valve), this pump is a very good choice. It's just as capable as much more expensive models from Topeak or other brands, and the gauge is accurate enough to get you back on the road with tire pressure somewhere in the right range. I have a very good floor pump that lives in my house. the garage. I have a small Topeak pump with gauge and hose that I keep in my bike bag along with my other bike tools. The GP96A doesn't have a hose, so it can't be used as a tiny floor pump, and you risk damaging your hose valves if you don't hold the pump carefully while inflating. Otherwise the GP96A is just as good as my Topeak pump, plus the GP96A is smaller and MUCH cheaper. (Note that since the GP96A is smaller, it requires more pumps to reach its target PSI than the Topeak.) I bought it as a spare and put it in another bike's toolbox when I had it longer than drove a short time time. Distance. Please do not purchase this or any similar pump as your main pump. Instead, buy a quality floor pump with a built-in pressure gauge. But it's a great mini pump to carry around on your bike along with a spare tube, patches, tire changers and other essential tools. Smaller and cheaper is probably better for something you may never really need, as long as small and cheap is also reliable. This pump meets these requirements. Edit: It's been over 5 years and this pump is still working great. I use it very rarely, but every time I've used it, it's done its job.
