I ordered this set out of curiosity as I have weird hair. I have a lot of hair, but it's very thin. The hair is wavy at the ends and tends to be fluffy at the roots. I mark my hair and when I try to let it grow below my shoulders, the hair splits and breaks, even with frequent trimming. I never won the hair lottery at all. I live in a humid climate, summers are brutal, I sweat all day and looking good can be challenging due to the climate, not to mention naturally odd hair. My experiences with these products are as follows: The shampoo smells like baby lotion to me. It's not bad! I love the smell of baby lotion. Soaped well, then rinsed and oh-oh-oh. Hair is super dry. Clean but dry. The conditioner has the same scent as the shampoo which again I like as it has a calming scent. The conditioner was applied and my hair just soaked it up, was instantly moisturized and rinsed well but didn't take the moisture down the drain. Questions. After drying, the hair was shiny and very soft. Zero flies away, does not curl. My hair is usually quite wavy in the summer, but I've found that after using these products it has become straighter rather than wavy. Once my hair was dry I used a post conditioner. You can use it on wet or dry hair. It's purple out of the bottle and smells like shampoo and conditioner. I used very little because I was afraid it would get greasy. No, he wasn't fat. Didn't weigh my hair down. I didn't really need the conditioner afterwards as the conditioner is so moisturizing I was glad it didn't weigh my hair down. Overall, my only concern was that the shampoo would dry out my hair, but the conditioner took care of that. I'm not deducting a star because the end result is beautiful. I can't stop touching my hair. I can't believe how soft it is! It's definitely pricey, but well worth it when you get the results promised, and I've done it. Five stars for that!
