I needed to replace the charger for an old Windows 7 laptop that I use as a music machine and was afraid to use a third party charger because when it works it's always a coin toss. I've been using it for more than a month and 0 problems. The charger was dropped, charged overnight, accidentally unplugged, folded and unfolded the cable for transport, but it keeps charging. I've only used one adapter plug for my HP laptop so I can't say if they all work, but the variety is good. I'd say it's the perfect replacement for older laptops, but I'm not sure about more modern laptops. I've included the model and some minor information about my laptop and I hope this adapter will continue to work until I'm ready to give it up! - Specifications of my old HP laptop - HP Pavilion dv6 laptop.
