The photo shows a boy who is about 5 feet tall and weighs 100 pounds or less. The size of the shorts is large. They are the same size as his other shorts, like the Under Armor and Nike shorts we bought at Kohls. The landing is as we expected. As you can see they are very breathable. There are no pockets what you need when doing sports. My kid wears sweatpants under shorts when playing, so it's ok, they are very see-through. As you can see he has the single layer shorts pulled up and if you look through a layer you can see the pattern on his shirt. We don't mind, but just in case that you are looking for double layer training shorts, they don't have two layers of material. But for those trying to keep their cool, that's good. The pair we received are of good build quality. No issues with fasteners, clasps or sewing. They are like any other shorts in build quality. No problem.
