Fails on several levels

There's not much to like and not much about this charger. For reference, I'm comparing this to a Pleson wireless charger that I'm very happy with - amazon.com/gp/product/B07SJGHP6D. Looks like Revain no longer sells this charger but I have it for comparison. I have to say right away that the manual is incomplete. The mount has a three-piece ball joint that requires user assembly. This step is completely missing from the instructions, and many end users can be immediately at a loss when they can't figure out how to put the pieces together. Also, the vent attachment is very tight, making access difficult. for your ventilation. The Pleson has a button that you press to relieve pressure during installation, then release the button and the mount snaps onto the vent. The Pleson also comes with a suction cup mount for the windshield or dashboard if you don't want to use a car vent. This charger only has the vent mount option. The next problem is the width of the tension arms. I could barely fit my Samsung Note 8 phone in there with the thinnest case. Any phone larger than that won't fit in a case, so take extra care to make sure this charger fits your phone. My phone and case fit in the Pleson and there is still room. The motorized arms of this mount are also very noisy compared to the Pleson. Another issue is the LED charge indicator, which tells you what charging mode the charger is in. to see while charging your phone. There is a weird picture of this LED on the box where the phone is transparent so you can see the indicator light through the phone. I've attached a photo of it. If your mobile phone is not transparent, you cannot see the display. The last and biggest problem is that this is not a fast charger. I've tried it with the car charger that came with it and with my own which I know is quality tested. Not once did the charger fast charge my phone wirelessly. So this charger is really up to no good. If you need a charger in this format with motorized clamp arms and don't care about fast-charging capabilities, this is something to consider. But there are many other alternatives with the same basic design that work better. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this charger at all.
