Update: After using them daily for several months we are happier than ever to have purchased this Paderno set. Then the pots and 10-inch pan are still fine even after a few instances of burnt oatmeal in the big pot and eggs in the pan; Our fault! The three-layer aluminum, copper and steel heating disk at the bottom of this set is very efficient and heat efficient; You have to remember that you don't need as much heat to cook well as you might need with smaller utensils. The non-scratch bar keeper cleaner is perfect for a heavy duty nylon sponge to clean the inside of a pot or pod if you forget and burn yourself. Outdoors, use Bar-Keeper only on the exposed copper ring around the heated disc to remove tarnish; Soap and water outside otherwise they will always come out beautiful.
