UPDATE: A few months after installation I blew the horn and nothing happened. Returned home and checked, the air pump still works perfectly but the horn makes no sound. The "reed" burst or something like that. I've seen mechanical pumps fail on them, but NEVER the horn itself. Complete rubbish. Lowered from 3 to 1 star (because you can't give 0 stars). Something strange is going on here. All parts (that were still there) were in the box. At least a few pucks definitely fell out along the way. Also, the box was cut where it says "Really?". Product'. In addition, there is no packaging in the box, just the horn separately, the HEAVY compressor in the box and all the small parts in the box. Needless to say, some SOUNDS in a metal horn. top; It's a metallic horn, it's probably closer to 100dB as someone else mentioned, but it's still loud (and yes, it's a CARGO horn, not a train). In my case it was a replacement for an existing horn on my Jeep, so it just has to work, it doesn't have to look pretty, and I don't need all the dropout parts. The $26 I spent isn't worth a refund as I didn't need the lost mounting hardware and it will still get a few dents under the hood. In the end, I can't say I would recommend it without A LOT of warning, and then only for people in the same situations as me. But what is actually being done here works well.
