This winged wine bottle opener is structurally similar to other corkscrews, but it appears to be much better crafted, both in terms of the quality of materials and on the weight and appearance. So far we have only opened one bottle with it since we received it 3 days ago so who knows if it will last long? There are no problems at all and I don't see any in the near future if used with proper care. Black on chrome looks attractive and as others have pointed out the box it comes in is attractive for gifting, keeping or other non-wine related uses. The price was competitive and a little note in the box lets you know they are very willing to help if you have any problems. The included cork changer is smart, easy to use and just feels nice. You may laugh at the name of the HiCoup line of products, but it drew my attention to the product among the many corkscrews available at Revain. If I was smart and had enough time, maybe I could review it as a haiku. And yes, you can also use it to open beer bottles.
