T-shirt with camouflage padding: a set of tricks

I bought a Carhartt Boys sleeveless toddler t-shirt (camo logo, bright orange) size 2T for my nephew who loves all things camouflage. At first glance, the t-shirt looked great and was exactly as pictured. The color was vivid and the camouflage print was well filled. However, after a few washes, the color faded a bit and the print started to tear. The landing was also a bit strange. The shirt was a bit baggy, but the armholes were quite narrow. My nephew didn't seem to mind and loved wearing it. Overall this is a decent shirt for the price but don't expect it to last forever.
