I haven't used this in a very long time but here are my observations. Very light weight, not sure how well it will handle a big storm (it has clips to mount under the bike). But so far it has been waterproof in light/moderate rain. It's thin plastic, so keep it away from a hot engine or exhaust pipe. What I really like is that it's huge and you can easily put it on a big bike. Very light, easily folds and fits in a saddlebag. I wouldn't call it heavy year-round coverage. But for $20. For real! It's perfect for travel or just to protect your bike from pollen and dust.
