I'm not sure why people say it doesn't keep your hair dry because it definitely does! I've had mine for a few months now and want to do a video review just because I really like this cap. Yes, it's silk lined inside and out, but there's a waterproof layer in between. I've worn it in the hot tub and shower and the only time my hair got wet was when I was sweating in the hot tub, the sweat from my head was mostly damp due to the cap trapping thermal moisture. This is definitely something to sleep in as it looks like a regular hat.
