Review on ๐Ÿ Long-lasting 70-Hour Beehive Candle: Eco-friendly Natural Beeswax with Cotton Wick by Morgan Gilmore

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Styrofoam is not environmentally friendly.

We originally bought a beehive candle that came with a metal stand. We really liked the candle and had no problem unwinding it and using it properly. We have just received a replacement spark plug which was packed in a styrofoam insert for stability during shipping. styrofoam. For real? Not "environmentally friendlyโ€ at all, the main argument for these candles is printed on the packaging for emphasis. I had to dig up the stale toxic material with a fork as it was a solid cork and beeswax is very sticky. It was a huge mess and there was a lot of non-removable styrofoam in the candle so burning this candle was literally spewing toxins into the air. Too bad because we loved this candle from the start. There's no point in buying it at all if it's a replacement. We also gave one to friends for Christmas. We'll tell them right away not to bother replacing them. Zero stars, yes.

Pros
  • Wax
Cons
  • Big and chunky
