I usually use "high end" binoculars like Zeiss and Wind River glasses. I gave one away and the other got damaged while moving so I decided to try these. I mainly use these glasses for bird watching and they are fantastic. Focusing is quick and easy, and I quickly switch from near to far, allowing me to look at a bird in the feeder and quickly focus on a bird far behind in a distant tree. The 12x magnification is very clear, making it easy to see fine details of small birds. They work well in low light. I was very pleased - for this amazing price I was able to let my kids use them and get them interested in wildlife viewing without fear that they are using 'expensive' binoculars - instead they can enjoy a 'high quality' view. !
