Very true to size. I usually order cotton shirts a size up for my kids as they shrink a bit after drying! I first chose the average size for my 6 year old (48.5 inches, 55 pounds, 23 inch waist). But the shirts were too big and didn't fit well enough to wear. Back to size Small, fits perfectly! Very soft material and great price :) (thankfully we were able to come back for a little one)
