Recently switched to microfiber cleaning cloths

I'm not a person who gets excited about cleaning cloths. Until I started using these microfiber towels, I was always "old school" with my kitchen towels. They had to be white terry cloth and 100% cotton. It was the only towel I ever considered for use in the kitchen. This regulation has now been abolished. Now I'm feeling a bit ridiculous for refusing to try something new for too long and I'm lucky for stumbling across these towels. As careful as I am with the towels I use, I'm not the clean-up type. I have simple requirements: ease of use and GOOD quick cleaning. For the record, I used the same cleaning spray with both types of towels (old school cotton and this microfiber towel), eliminating any possibility that the detergent could be a factor in testing. I discovered the use of these towels. that I do NOT wash "quickly" or very well with my 100% cotton towels. Turns out my white towels don't leave streaks on kitchen surfaces (especially countertops). My countertops are black quartz (I think) and I accidentally left streaks on them. Not that I can see the stripes - you really can't. To the eye, it looks more like some sort of "film" has hidden its brightness. It's hard to describe without using such a nasty word as "movie". Without these towels I would never have noticed this effect because the countertops looked clean because they were clean. Then came the SCRUBIT microfiber cloths. I no longer have streaks on these towels. I'm lucky I stumbled across these towels and I'm an idiot for not trying something else to clean my kitchen years ago. I don't know exactly why these towels work so much better when cleaning. You opened my eyes to other possibilities. The price is reasonable too - they cost a little more than I paid for my last set of white tea towels - but they're worth it. Recommend!
