This is an amazing value. The frame is made of solid wood, the corners are beveled at a 45 degree angle. Each of the four pieces of wood is held by 2 clamps at each corner. Seems very solid. The acrylic is about an eighth of an inch thick, maybe a little more, and has a very secure coating that sticks to both sides that I was able to peel off easily. A fair bit of styrofoam is included to hold the painting on the glass. It was a cardboard backdrop with an actual stand to fold the painting down when it's not on the wall. The drawing is held on metal loops that are quite durable. I could bend them with my fingernail, but it took some effort and I nearly got the tool. I would say the hole in front just doesn't match the size listed in this case 9x13. Maybe 8 and 3/4 to 12 and 3/4. They would absolutely recommend this frame. I've bought frames from general sellers you would expect from picture frames. Large retail chains. I haven't found anything, especially real wood, not plastic, of this quality at such a reasonably low price, shipping included.
