The light fabric combined with the self-generated wind keeps me cool in the sweatshirt, even in triple-digit summer temperatures. I ride gravel and the sweatshirt doesn't affect my vision or hearing. Prior to this product, I used a folded bandana soaked in water, but it didn't cover the neck and temple areas of the face. Although it's rated as hand wash and no tumble dry, I wash on the gentle cycle and hang dry and have no issues.
