I tested this on my Dell XPS 13 and it worked. My 23" Dell Ultrasharp monitor looked as good as it gets with SVGA. I mention this because if your monitor has multiple interfaces like mine, SVGA doesn't look as sharp as some other more modern interfaces. This particular Dell monitor is several years old and has both SVGA and DVI-D interfaces. DVI-D is noticeably cleaner than SVGA, but SVGA is still very good and usable. This is not the fault of this interface key. To be expected due to fundamental limitations of one type of interface versus another. Anyway, this SVGA is in my kit when I'm in a customer conference room with outdated hardware. It should also work with a modern Mac that also has USB-C features /Thunderbolt 3, although I haven't tested that.
