This is the first time I have ordered a ratchet strap so my husband has worn it for the first time. Once he got over the initial "I don't know, it's different," he decided he really liked it. As some other reviewers have pointed out, it was quite difficult to undo the clasp to insert the strap, but once done, everything works fine. In this case, changing the belt from black to gray is very simple. An attractive metallic black buckle that looks great with both black and gray belts. The only problem is how quickly the ratchet slots on the belt wear out, making it impossible to tension the belt in the right place. Otherwise a very nice, stylish belt.
