A piece of Cr*p. That's the thing about functional objects... they have to be functional. That does not work. I used this once and it rang and the next time I queued (1 hour later) it didn't ring. He's a good weight. Attractive design. But none of that means you have to crouch unless the timer actually warns you it's done. To be clear I have not dropped it, abused it or mishandled it. I used it on my desk to manage pomodoro time. How can this thing be used in the kitchen (much harsher conditions) when I'm not working at the table?! Strange. Edit: I took it apart and it's made of soft (aluminum?) metal and plastic. The only thing driving the whole mechanism is a piece of sheet metal 1/4 inch wide and 1/8 millimeter thick. No wonder he doesn't call. The "spring" of a PoC has no "memory" and therefore will not bounce or rebound, providing the force needed to propel the entire device. Also, all gears are plastic, any force on them will destroy the teeth of the gears and render them useless. Absolute rubbish. Spend your money elsewhere.
