We have two cats that need expensive food to stay healthy. We are always looking for other foods to try as it feels like torture to eat the same brand and taste for a lifetime. It seemed like this brand was made with quality ingredients that our cats would love. Here's what we noticed after about a week of use. Pros: 1. Urinary tract health is our cats' primary concern and this cat food didn't seem to ruin it. I haven't seen any change in her bladder or bowels. It may take longer to consume this food to see long-term effects. The smell is relatively strong and reminds me of flaky fish food. This might seem like a downside to some, but I attribute the smell to high-quality ingredients.3. The kibble size is ideal for our adult cats. Their usual food is much bigger and I think they liked the small pieces. It may still be too big for a younger cat. Cons: 1. Maybe my cats are just obnoxious, but they probably ate half of what they normally ate when they were offered this food. Normally I would say it was due to the quality of the ingredients and the lack of grain they had to get used to but their regular food is a very well known brand and almost double the price of this product so I really don't think it is a problem. Cats are probably just cats, but it's worth noting. Overall I think this is a good product at a price that is on par with other 'healthier' cat foods.
