I'm raising a little faucet in this 1 gallon bowl while I prep her future 5 gallon home. 😊 I wanted a light that plants grow well as plants are so important to water quality and aesthetics. I looked at so many different lights and chose this one because the price was great for a light with a built in timer and dimmer. I also wanted a light with red and green LEDs, mostly because I don't like how the blue of some other brands looks without them. As you can see, light makes plants grow very well. Plants produce visible bubbles after a few hours. Growth has been very good, I have Green Ozelot, Elodea, Dwarf Lily and Java Moss. I love the timer feature, it works great. The instructions weren't very helpful, but it's not difficult to use. The color of the light on the controller changes during the hour you select. I also like how I can control the brightness of each combination of LEDs individually and remembers my settings. In general, I am very satisfied with the quality, the functions and the ease of use. use. If you're not sure which grow light to choose, this one is worth it!
