Clean the mushroom. Rinse the brush in a small amount of water. Blot the brush with a paper towel. clean the mushroom. This brush is stiffer than I expected, but if you work with the angle of the bristles and don't push too hard, it works great. I expect it to get better as it expands a bit. The shovel is only sharpened on the inside (as far as plastic can be ground), not on the outside. With larger mushrooms, it would be easier to use if the outside was sharpened as well. Solid four stars.
