They work great!
Contrary to what other reviewers say, they didn't pull my hair out or cause me any pain. In fact, they are very gentle. You have to use them incorrectly and pull with a lot of force to actually pull out strands of hair. They work great! After brushing, my hair looked super vintage, which is exactly what I wanted! :) I will order another package.
